We are located on a 15-acre mountaintop, about 30 miles north of Chattanooga, Tennessee and some 85 miles south of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Our Boston Terriers are our Babies and love romping and playing in the mountain air in the warm sunshine. Digging up flowers and sitting in the planters, or just playing tug-o-war with the HUNDREDTH garden hose. When bored with all of this play they go for a swim in their private pool. They love sitting in our recliners, eating at the table, and sleeping in our beds (with us). AFTER ALL, THEY DO OWN THIS PLACE YOU KNOW.
We purchased our first Boston Terrier in 1984. Our new little “Mandy” won our hearts as we learned how intelligent and loving Boston Terriers are. We knew right away we would never be with out one in our home.
Our “Mandy”, who was a Pet Quality Boston, gave us the desire to own better quality BTs, ones that we could show and also use for a breeding program. We met Betty and Eugene Wells of Knoxville, Tennessee at a dog show, and they became our mentors. They sold us our first show quality Boston that became our foundation Stud dog.
The Wells became some of our dearest friends, and we feel honored indeed to have been guided by these two gracious people.
We broke into the show ring with a bang, with puppies from our first litter taking “Winners Dog", "Winners Bitch", "Best Of Winners", "Best Of Breed", and "Best Of Opposite” (THE WHOLE SHOW).
In our second Show we knew we were REALLY HOOKED when our 6-month-old “Misty” took "Winners Bitch" at the Boston Terrier Specialty in Louisville, Kentucky.
Through selective breeding, we are pleased that all of our Champions are from our own breeding with the exception of our “Justamere’s Rebel With A Cause” who was the number #4 Boston in 2001. We strive to breed to the standard and to improve the breed. Health and temperament are the most important parts of our breeding program.
We also wish to acknowledge all of the great professional handlers who helped us to show our Bostons. Our thanks to: Norlee Reece, Hope Hamilton, Sharon Saberton, and Ann McCammon and Sunsan Sanders.
